The New York City Central Labor Council sponsors a march for jobs and economic justice this Thursday.
They promise no speeches, no rally because “it’s all been said.”
It starts at 4 p.m. at Herald Square. Participants will march along Broadway to Union Square.
They say it’s not just for the labor movement. It’s for everyone who is frustrated and worried about the growing economic disparity and anyone who has ever agonized about:
- finding a job,
- paying for college,
- meeting a mortgage payment, or
- how to buy enough food for dinner.
If you don’t know where Herald Square is, head to 31st or 32nd Streets. between Broadway and 5th Ave.
