Helping the community speak up, speak out. It’s what we do.

Rockland County Teachers Association paired with community groups to raise funds for the month of May to benefit Autism Speaks. Many charitable events held by merchants, public employee unions and other civic groups in Pearl River and Rockland County.  The fund-raising brought in over $15,000.  The RCTA, led by Donna Ramundo of the Nyack TA; and individual  Rockland County NYSUT locals brought in nearly $5,000.

NYSUT local unions raised the money through raffling Yankee tickets and through the sales of books on bullying prevention at the Nyack Street Fair.
