Big questions for education in debt ceiling deal?

Voting yes on the plan in the House were: Bishop, Gibson, Grimm, Hanna, Hayworth, Higgins, Hochul, Israel, King, Lowey, McCarthy, Meeks, Owens and Reed. Sen. Schumer voted yes.

Voting no on the debt ceiling deal in the House were Ackerman, Buerkle, Clarke, Crowley, Engel, Maloney, Nadler, Rangel, Serrano, Tonko, Towns and Velazquez. Sen. Gillibrand voted no.

Not voting was Congressman Hinchey who was absent for medical reasons.

    Yea for Sen. Gillibrand!! I received a response to an email I sent Sen. Schumer, awhile ago, regarding ESEA reauthorization. Interesting that It was sent out from his office today of all days.
